Kingussie Bikeathon - Sunday 24th June 2018
*** BOOK NOW AT BIKEATHON2018.EVENTBRITE.CO.UK ***
Kingussie Bikeathon is back in 2018 and better than ever....
Our Community family-friendly event will take you on a marked and marshalled road route through some spectacular scenery in the Cairngorms National Park.
Entry fees have been held at last years level of £15 for adults and £5 for children. Funds raised from the fees will go to support our local children at Kingussie High School.
Rather than teaming up with a charity partner this year we are encouraging all local groups and charities to get involved, enter teams and use the event to raise funds for your own cause through sponsorship. If you are part of a local group and want to know more email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

As a thankyou for supporting the Bikeathon Landmark Forest Adventure Park are offering three free family tickets to be awarded as prizes on the day and a 20% discount for up to six people, for every Bikeathon participant, between 11th June and 8th July. We will email details of how to claim when you book.
After the 'Grand Depart' from Kingussie High School at 10.30, we will follow the picturesque route through Newtonmore, along National Cycle Route 7, past Ralia Cafe and up past Glentrium to the spectacular viewpoint at the Centre of Scotland before descending to Laggan and back under the shadow of Craig Dubh through Newtonmore to Kingussie. The finish will be at the Duke of Gordon Hotel where well-earned refreshment and entertainment will be waiting.
Look out along the route for our refreshment stops and entertainment to keep you going.
At the finish, there will be refreshments, a burger marquee, ice cream and hotel drinks bar. The finish line will also have entertainment and the ever popular skills corner for kids.
We will once again run the "Bike Amnesty" in association with New Start Highland - please bring along surplus or unwanted bikes so they can be put back to good use.
For the last two years, we have been proud to work with our excellent charity partner Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, and we would like to thank them for enabling us to keep the event going.
